POS Onlining Queue

OK, let me first state that I searched the "Common Idea" thread and also ran a few searches, but didn't find anything like this.
---

As anyone knows, onlining stuff in a POS is a PITA.

Click online

... Wait 2 minutes ...

select next mod, click online ... repeat ad nauseum.

POS setup can take several hours requiring a player to be physically at the keyboard.

I don't think shortening the online time is necessarily a good idea, because of balance and fairness issues with onlining an endless stream of weapons while under attack.

But what about an POS module onlining queue? Here's what I envision:

Once the tower is up, running, and fueled, and you're at the tower, you could select a set of modules you'd like to online. The tower would then proceed to online each module, IN ORDER, taking the appropriate amount of time for each one. I'd say allow this set of modules to be any number, up to and including all the modules at the POS.

I'd also include the stipulation that the queue would exit and fail if the POS shield takes any damage. The queue could also exit and fail if the queue-character leaves the POS (either by logout, or intentionally flying away). Of course, the queue would exit and fail if the POS is out of PG or CPU as well. All modules successfully onlined prior to the queue exiting would stay online.

I don't think that this would introduce any game-balance issues, and only serves to reduce the RL drudgery of setting up the POS.

Thoughts?

Should make POS management less horrible, at least until CCP fully revamps the POS system.

Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot.

This has been requested before. I recall this being heavily supported. It might of been in the CSM forum area however.
