Want to know? Vote for me at CSM 8 and I will find out for you!

Who am I?
Nobody. Just your regular average "joe" eve player that is beholden to no one but to the search of the truth.

Plataform:

1. Find out what CSM members "actually" do
2. Find out the "real" purpose of the CSM
3. Make happy good game for everyone!

There you have it folks all black and white, easy peasy! Vote for me and you shall learn what a CSM member "actually" does and why do we need the CSM for!

Platform:
1. Some of them get free trips to Iceland
2. Sorry that is classified
3. You can please All of the people some of the time but only please some of the people all of the time.

Anyway good luck average joe.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

1. Getting free trips are not "doing" something, but receiving ;-)
2. Purpose not classified otherwise no need for CSM ;-)
3. I shall make All the people happy happy happy all the time

To know how I am going to do that, you have to elect me and I shall make it happen :-)

Mostly the CSM is there to have direct contact between selected players and CCP, something the average player doesn't have. The CSM is also there to push for important issues with the player base. They don't have any power really and CCP can choose to disregard their voices. It is nice to know that CCP is listening to what players have to say and, on paper anyway, *are* making changes they suggest.

1.receiving is an action, therefore it is doing something
2. Sorry still classified
3. The postage of happy pills to players, contravenes many countries postage acts.

This game, if it can be called a game, is one big experiment in human behaviour; an anthropologists dream.

The CSM was an excellent idea by CCP. Study the behaviour of people when they are given the opportunity to delude themselves into believing they stand shoulder to shoulder with the Gods of New Eden; the staff of CCP. Find out what are considered to be important issues, and correlate those issues with the type of human (loose terminology there) that proposes them.

The disgraceful behaviour of Gianturco gives some idea as to the type of obsessive who wants to be on the CSM.

Probably the best way to find out what the CSM actually 'does' is to ignore it. When you realise the game quality has not diminished on jot: THEN you will have your answer.

The majority have ignored it or not understood it while reaping the benefits from it, those benefits have been small due to a lack of that majority.

The best way to think of the CSM is to think of a union back when they were first starting up, their influence only equals their numbers.
