Hey Guys

I am looking into investing time and money into PI on all my toons and was wondering what would give me the most profit out of everything you can make through it?

I am fond of robotics. The demand for robotics in Eve is huge, as every T2 armor repper, every T2 projectile turret, every T2 missile launcher, every T2 drone, every POS fuel block, and probably some other items I am not aware of, requires them to manufacture. Robotics consistently are the highest priced or very nearly the highest priced P3 product in Eve, and unlike most P3s only require two P2 inputs instead of three. The raw materials can be found on lava and barren planets, which are fairly common.

It varies day to day based off market demand. Currently PI prices are going crazy high so just about anything will (besides bacteria or biofuels) will make a descent profit.

It also depends on where you are doing your PI at, more specifically what your tax level is at.

In high sec your very limited on what you can make because of the high tax costs. To make a descent profit you need learn the best ways to import/export goods for finished PI products.

Currently you would be best to sell industrial fibers, electrolytes. For P2 coolant and enriched uranium are descent. P3 would be robotics. P4 is only worth it if you manufacture with them and unless you have several accounts you would be hard pressed to make more isk manufacturing P4 then simply selling the P1 - P3 mats.

The best thing to remember is that fuel block materials always sell quite well (enriched uranium, coolant, robotics, etc).

In addition to POS fuels I find rocket fuel sells pretty well, but only in major market hubs. Right now enriched uranium is the winner

Just be careful looking at sell prices without looking at volumes. Somethings have very high average for sale price, but a low average buy order and volume. For example High-Tech Transmitters vs Robotics. Just looking at sell orders makes you think "hey I'll make a kill with the Transmitters" until you note the buy orders and volume.

The big unknown factor in your question here is... what kind of planets do you got access too?

If you got access to wormhole planets, just mass spamming industrial fibers I think you would make some
nice jack on that.

If your talking highsec, i'm thinking:

Toxic metals, seems to be always over 300.00 and you can actually find planets with decent heavy metals sometimes.

Oxygen, this seems to be over 300.00 lately, nice thing is plenty of systems with 4 gas planets, so little movement involved.

Water, this would depend if you can get the right planets in a given range. Every now and then I see a high sec planet
with huge aqueous liquids, and water has been hovering above 250.00.

Reactive Metals, seem pretty easy mode also.

Anything above processed materials, not sure, taxes.

I'll be honest here, I don't mind giving help, but I'm in a sour mood on this issue today.

Why is it that people can't do some foot work for themselves?

There is a TON of different PI products.

List them in a spreadsheet.

Get the buy & sell costs in there.

Look at the market history.

Make the choice based on what you have available to you.

If you're not willing to do most of the busy work to understand supply & demand, you don't deserve to make a profit.

With that said, good luck finding what you're looking for.

It constantly changes, which is why you need a spreadsheet like this.
