Whats going on with this Implant?

This thing cost around 80ish million isk in any LP store and people is selling them for 15 - 25mil a pop?

Am I missing something here?

Probably a loot drop from some type of mission, or FW LP maybe? Just speculating.

Not sure why you care, just get a different 5% implant that's profitable

For what i can tell there is no mission loot that drops this thing, and also in FW LP u pay the same ammount of isk and LP u do in other LP stores!

During the summer if your FW hit Tier 5 you paid 1/4 the LP & 1/4 the ISK for the same item. It'll probably take years to recover.

It's not FW, if you look at the chart they've been that cheap or cheaper for ages. There's just an alternative source (COSMOS, maybe, or random container drops in some mission or another) and there's not enough demand for the implant to outweigh the supply and drive them up above profitable level for mission runners. The ME-805 for medium lasers is the same way.

Got one as drop from the final mission in a 10 mission storyline (Kidnapper's Strike I think).

Edit:
My bad, I got an MH-803 (+3) which is around 18M and appears to have been for a long time.

An MH-805 (+5) on the other hand appears to be totally bonkers on the market.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.
