i have my api key atc and my character shows up in the screen however no other data will import? is this because i am not a trial player.

You'll have to update your API key to a custom API key. You can do that here; http://support.eveonline.com/Pages/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fapi

i done that however wgen i pasted the info into evemon it said at the bottom of the api key window

"Beware this api key does not provide any data"

maybe thats why i cannot import any character data

this sometimes happens when the API backend server has been disabled by CCP

they sometimes need to disable it due to bugs, hardware issues, or for a few days after a major patch/expansion has been deployed for testing purposes.

its normally back up with in a few days though.

Everytime you buy something that says "made in china" you are helping the rising unemployment in your own country unless you are from china, Buy locally produced goods and help create more jobs.
