Claimed PLEX on a character I sold

So I just claimed 6 PLEX on a character I sold this morning that was in the transfer process. What can I do to get them back? Or am I just screwed?

Not sure tbh. Days I guess, but in the mean time you could ask the person you sold the character too, to kindly return them.
But I wouldn't worry, it's a genuine mistake and CCP should help.

kinda funny. I got a gift card to amazon over xmas and after selling that toon this morning I decided I would see if I could buy plex with it. So long and behold I can and they have a special for 6 plex for 99.99. So I purchase them and link my CCP account to my Amazon account. Then when I got off work tonight I saw they were in the claim spot on my login screen. So I hit claim not looking at what character I had selected. An since the character I had selected was the one I was transfering it gave them to it.

i mean, how could that happen-- how is it possible to "just [now] claimed" 6 Plex on a character that was already in the transfer process. I thought characters are on a ten hour lockdown during transfer

it was at the login screen. and the character was locked or I would just have went and pulled them back out.

I hope the gentleman that bought the character logs in and can just send them back to me. It would save me some time CCP some time and probably him if he goes ahead and sells them or uses them in some manner.

Well an update.

I contacted they buyer and he was very aggressive and said he wouldnt give them back that they were righfully his. So looks like I am going to have to wait for CCP to figure this out. But thanks for the support guys !!!

Reading char transfer rules, I got this:

Q. My character has ships and ISK still in their hangar and wallet. Can I put it up for sale still?
A. Of course, just please remove these items before transfer and do not calculate them into the price of the character. Be careful because all items will remain with the character upon transfer.

It's kinda iffy. Technically strictly by the rules, they belong to him. No different than me forgetting a ship when doing a char transfer.

Did you petition the problem with the plex before, or after the transfer finalized?

I am the new owner of this toon firstly please read the character transfer RULES.

Any items which are left on the character are forfeit to the new owner. Whether it be 1 isk, 10 billion isk, an ibis or a capital ship. YOU must ensure that the items are removed and if they are not its your problem.

Now, you claim that you bought them after the transfer. You were then stupid enough to claim them on a character being sold? EVEN THEN you could have cancelled the transfer at any time. Also you claim im aggressive? You have bombarded me with Threatning mails and in game convos all day long. You act like I have cause offense when its your own stupidity that has caused this.

From your terrible attitude , complete disreguard for rules and the respect of others I come to the conclusion that you are doing this because you decided that you no longer wanted the PLEX and want a real life refund, or that you are a troll or that you are just plain stupid.

Either way I am completley within my rights to sell the PLEX and do what I want with the money since I am in no breach of the rules whatsoever, you had so many oppurtunities to stop this happening if it was truly a mistake but you failed to act upon them.

Feel free to contact CCP, I have already done so. I am within my rights by character transfer rules to keep any and all items left on the character after transfer. I have no obligation to refund you under my own money no return the character / items to you.

Next time read the rules.

You shouldn't be able to redeem items onto a locked character, that's just like, stupid, here redeem the item, but once you do you can't get it back

Seems to me like a glitch, and CCP are particularly picky about character transfers

1:10 that CCP give him his PLEX back and remove them from you

1:50 that CCP go "LOL EVE" and leave him out 100 bucks

1:100 they just give you both the PLEX because they are so nice
