I am receiving the following error:

Unhandled exception: page fault on write access to 0xf6ad9000 in 32-bit code (0xf5e1f239).

Here is the pasty of the dump:

http://pastebin.com/vfDYDRAx

I have tried various combinations of the following to - patch and to run.

Quote:

export WINEDLLOVERRIDES="msvcr100,msvcr90,msvcr80=b,n"
export WINEDLLOVERRIDES="msvcr100,msvcr90,msvcr80=b,n,msvcrt=b,n"

as suggested by other older post. I was able to run eve as of Jan 9, 2013.

I am running

Sabayon 9 -- x64
i7 -- 16gb Ram -- 2x Nvidia 460 gtx

Does anyone have an idea what I should try next?

What version of Wine? Anything more recent than 1.5.10 or so doesn't require those overrides anymore. You can go into winecfg and remove them, and take the WINEDLLOVERRIDES bits out of your shortcuts.

If you happen to have just upgraded to 1.5.20 or 1.5.21, d3d11.dll needs to be disabled, but I think it actually mentions d3d11 in the error if that's the case.

I knew I forgot something -

I have wine 1.5.21 and without the config overrides it still reports the same error messages. I do have d3d11.dll disabled as well.

The launcher opens up but when I click "Play", this is where the error occurs.

Have you tried the latest Nvidia driver to see if that helps? Your dump says that you are using 295.53, and 310.19 is the latest stable.

I have a fruit cup and I'm not afraid to use it.

I had the exact same error and I disabled d3d11 for ExeFile.exe and it works now.
