Nah, I tend to run a close range scram Manticore. Most of my victories vs Myrms have come against EFT DPS shield gank fits that just aren't prepared to fight a super DPS frigate. I'd say that any competent Tier 1/Tier 2 BC should be able to smoke me pretty easily - but they just don't seem to actually accomplish it in the time they have available. I guess that's what makes it such a damn fun thing to do.

Now, I have engaged competent BCs before, and generally it doesn't go my way. I remember a particularly long and grueling fight with 2 Drams+Manticore vs Myrm. It took us forever to wear his active tank down and kill him. I spent the entire time at range and was frequently driven off the field by his drones while neither of the Drams could get close enough to apply a web or do significant DPS.

The fights play out how they play out I guess. And I'm successful most of the time.

Ed: I've done both solo and gang work with bombers. Small Inty/Bomber gangs harassing much larger BC gangs are quite possibly the most fun in Eve.
