I have no sound in game. Nothing nada. clicked the lil box to enable sound. Did the cntrl alt shift f12 nada, restarted many times nada.

Please help.

Running vista 32bit, running a nvidia card. In windowed mode.

Can you maybe post a screenshot of the audio & chat settings so we can see how that's configured?

Can you watch the introduction movie and see if you get sound on that. In the past it seems some people that didn't have sound did get that.

Assuming you're using windows, open the volume mixer. (Right click on the speaker icon among the other smaller icons near the time, and select volume mixer. Eve should be listed in there, are those sliders up and not muted at the bottom?

Last resort would be resetting settings and even reinstalling.

That might be a problematic. Try updating the sound drivers, maybe that will get eve in the list.

Tad bit of a necroing here, but figured I shouldnt bother making a new thread. Since the last update, I got this problem. EVE isnt showing up in my volume mixer, and theres no sound. Not the sound drivers, as they havent released new ones for like years. And suggestions?

Im also having loads of problems with popping, scratching sounds since the last update.
