So we now have the ability to nuke dust bunnies from orbit. I for one was really looking forward to griefing those poor bastards... and then I read the patch notes. It would seem they exist for FW only and they have to request fire. I can't just swoop in with my flashy red ass and start blasting both sides. I feel like I've been trolled by CCP. Cry

So far they're only for FW.

This is EVE.
Things... change.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

I'm currently not motivated by Dust, aside from maybe starting a character just in case things get awesome later

You were honestly expecting to be able to just rock up and destroy their game with no warning or consequences?

Well duh... How do did you expect CCP to sell a game where bullets constantly rain from the sky? Blink

No warning is fine, within limits.
No consequence isn't, nor is it in EvE.

It's only possible in EVE when the victim works really hard at making it possible, and not even always then.

The "requesting fire" part have been more or less known about since day 1 and it will for obvious reasons most likely never change into anything else.

I watched some of the gameplay on Youtube, after Sony demanded I subsribe to the playstation store for 10 bucks per time period before I was allowed to DL Dust 514 and make use of my Beta Key, I decided it was time to make a Planetside 2 account instead...

Which is funny because that is from Sony as well... Ugh

Eventually they will be able to shoot back, and blow your ships out of the sky. Maybe then you can freely rain death down upon them.

Then again maybe not.
