Some questions about industry jobs API and POS stuff

I'm trying to work out what all the different action types from the industry jobs API relate to. This is the full list:

manufacturing
research technology
research time productivity
research materials productivity
copy
reprocess
invention
reverse engineering

Most of them are obvious but does anyone know what the 'research technology' and 'reverse engineering' activities refer to? What do I need to do in-game in order to see these in my industry jobs api?


Also, I'm wondering if jobs based in POSs (i.e. blueprint research jobs, reactions, capital ship assembly, etc) show up in the industry jobs API? If not, is there any other API call that gives access to that data?
(Sadly, I have no POSs and don't have the time to set one up for testing)

Research Technology is not used as far as I know. Duplicating is not used either (activityid 6). Reverse engineering is the sleeper (tech 3) stuff.

All jobs appear no matter where they were started - stations/POS/etc. Reactions do not appear, and neither does any PI stuff, only jobs that appear in the S&I job panel.
