Read this thread numbnuts.

Anything specific? Because that thread from a GM is very, very specific. It is allowed to use wardecs from to raise the price of wardecs against your corp.

oh wait, I'm obligated to call you a name as well, how about Lil' Pecker?

7) Using alt corps to artificially inflate the cost of war decs
Not an exploit due to cost involved and lack of other means to shield one self from constant war decs. That is, if you do apply the wars directly to the entity you want to drive up the war costs for. Declaring cheap wars on a corp that then joins up the alliance you want to “shield” is considered an exploit as per the this notification (which still is the case), and you will get in trouble for doing that.

Boldface the funny part for you

Now get your billions out and wardec them. Must be a huge financial reason for this butt hurt, else you could dec someone else

It honestly sounds like a great idea. Both for new player retention and seeing high-sec noobie gankers cry a solid river of tears.

I have to use a proxy to get to their forums. So I have to reconstruct the link and cannot test it.

On main Uni forum page (http://forum.eveuniversity.org), do the following:

McDarila's post is on page 49 of that thread. Use Ctrl-F to locate McDarila.

=================================

It's no longer about being butthurt. Just notifying the community that there MAY BE some potential special favours heading E-Uni's way from CCP.

E-Uni does good for the newbie-end of the game, but no player-run corporation deserves special treatment from CCP.

You should know by now that if it doesn't come directly from Kelduum that its just random unistas talking out of their ***

edit: oh and hey I dont need a proxy to read the uni forums lol, maybe if you stopped spewing BS about the uni all the time you wouldn't have been banned from their forums lol

Such as Irdalth. I like to think of him as a random Unista. That dude wears his Director title like it's the best thing he's accomplished.

And you also know that after Kelduum has had a nice discussion with CCP, he likes to drop hints to the students in Mumble. Whereas, McDarila probably didn't know exactly what he was talking about, the fuel for his comment likely came from a hint Kelduum dropped in Mumble one morning.

Kelduum could have very well dropped a hint like "CCP has the solution to all our war problems just around the corner. We can get back to doing what we do best, teach!" And someone like McDarila translated that bit of semi-vagueness into "teaching decshield." *

Not so much BS. :)

I'm using the proxy for now. Too many other computers hooked into the router and doing stuff. Too lazy to release and renew my IP at the moment.

Probably sparked by the recent change to the unwritten wardec "rules" to make decshields (which the alliance still has to pay for) and alliance hopping no longer petitionable. Decshields haven't been petitionable in some time anyway once "mutual" wars were changed so that they dont effect the cost of a wardec.

McDarila's comment came well before the CCP official forum announcement of the wardec policy change. I think I was correct in the assumption that something was up and that Kelduum gave away some vague hint to his Mumble fanbase.

This policy change plays into exactly what E-Uni needed to avoid 99% of all wardecs. Only the mega-rich and truly pissed off are going to pay 1B ISK to dec the Uni for a week.

Poetic, topic is done, dusted and varnished.

Why don't you just start an alt, apply to E-Uni and start again. All the access to forums and intel ya need.

Then you can kill 'em all..... One by one - at ZERO cost...

If the decshield just means manipulating in-game mechanics then I see no issue with it. If it means that EVE-uni become an NPC corp then this is a terrible idea.

You sound like Theo Samaritan . So... What, exactly do you want from the Uni?

Didn't you get kicked because you couldn't follow the rules? Why should they change how they do things (that have been working for 7.5 years) for you?
