plz help with getting on buckingham

i tried to follow the instructions :(

copied the eve.exe file(multiple ".exe" files in there tried them all) and after changing target with the supplied ip it keeps telling me that target is not valid........and yes i added the space

I notice that on the example Picture that is supplied it says "Buckingham" in the file properties. am I not seeing the right file i need to copy to desktop? I also tried the Buckingham install and its the exact same files for the Tranquility server

I am hoping that the person skipped something in the instruction thinking that I'm not an idiot and that i would know what to do.....

I did find the way though. after i copied the eve folder i had to patch the copied folder before the changed the desktop exe file.after i did this ,bang no problems

Yes i know ccp says they don't offer a manual patch anymore but i found one anyway

1. I've had around 30 mails saying thanks for the great guide and how it works, the most recent one being yesterday so its not "wrong", if you can't follow the instructions properly that isn't my issue, nor is it my issue if your launcher fails to patch because the server is at a lower version than the client install folder or any other reasons.

2. If you really refer to "desktop exe files" i'm not suprised you couldn't follow the instructions.
