I approve of this story. The question is, how much were they paid and how on earth did the dad find them?

I mean... do your parents / significant other / children know anything about how to hire somebody to kill you repeatedly in eve?

What ever happened to the tried and true method of simply beating your kids with whatever you have in reach at the time? That's how I was raised and it worked out pretty well Big smile

Yeah but you cant do that anymore, well not in Europe so much, human rights and all that.

Our characters dont have human rights (yetRoll) so this is the 21st century way to do it.

And some people enjoy them more than they should.

This is actually the true reason why the beatings were abolished in British schools, at least that´s what I heard.

Yes and no.

State schools no longer have corporal punishment and as a result it is no longer legal for middle-aged men (or women, but as I recall it was mainly the men) to beat children with sticks and footwear rather than explain using words that the kid has done something they disapprove of.

Private schools are a different matter, Corporal punishment is still in use in some of them, although I am told that it's use requires written parental consent before assaul.... erm... beati.... erm..... disciplinary measures may be commenced.

Of course, not beating children as young as 8 with sticks for bending the cutlery in the school canteen after watching Uri Geller on one of the three TV channels available (not that this is what happened to me at all... oh no, not one bit) is why this country is in the sad state it's in.

I for one would welcome back our sweating in quite a cool room, frothing at the corners of the mouth and sporting a strange bulge in the upper trouser region cane wielding overlords.

that might explain the eye....
anyway. it would be much more devastating if the boy played EVE. losing a 2 bill battleship to your father. would be horrible

I wonder how many father son / mother daughter etc families play eve. It would be interesting to hear their stories.

I know two brothers who play and are pirates but they have a strict dont kill each other policy.
