Having just returned, I was wondering if these new fangled ASBs are practical on a BS such as Mach or Domi in lieu of a SB.

In My Opinion****

The ASB's are better used for PvP fits than PvE fits.
The idea is that they give you a huge shield boost, but for a very limited amount of time.

Also: I like the XL ASB much better than all the other sizes.
Many people fit duel ASB so that they can use one while the other is reloading. Reload time is 60 seconds...

Since they really rely on charges, they are not an ideal pve module. More do-or-die PVP usage.

Some players fit two to mitigate the 60s reload or rely on cap transfer from Logi since technically the module does not require charges to run.
