Career agent missions and faction standing: when is it rewarded?

I've done a few from a new career path, and so far there's been no increase in my standing for that faction. though my standing for that agent goes up. Is faction standing only raised during certain career missions or after completing 10 or something?

Also, all 15 of that faction should be done for maximum standing gain right?

Storyline Missions give faction standings

standard missions just give standings towards that specific agent & his/her corporation

the faction repair guide and wiki have both stated that career missions, the noob ones, grant faction standing, is that not the case?

yes they do, afaik its the (10 of 10) that gives the boost.

Sisters Epic Arc is repeatable every 3 months too .. chose a different Faction to help each time.

As usual any gains made will be subject to the standard rules of diminishing returns

as for the sisters, how do you choose what faction you are doing it for, I don't recall anything like that.

You will be given a choice upon recieving mission near the end. You will be required to choose any one commander ( there will be one of each race) to help. Afther that you will have to travel to that commander and he will give you "Our man Dagan" and then "Dal Segno Al Fine" missions. Reporting to that commander after completing the last one will end an arc and net you standings increase.

The career mission chain's faction standing gain is small, and generally not worth doing. SOE arc gives a decent 4% towards one of the 4 main empire factions, but it's quite long.

Look into datacenters for a quick boost.

Well, I know a lot of players, including myself, who will say the Career Agents are definitely worth doing, especially when repairing negative Faction standings.

One of the first things I say to people is train up the various Social skills asap.

I had completed the Career Agents back before the Agent standing/reward change ('Agents Made Easy' expansion). I'm not sure what it is now but when I did them with Social lv 5 trained, the Exploration Career Agent gave about +0.75% Faction standing increase while the other 4 Career agents gave about +1.25% Faction standing increase. Basically about +5.75% Faction standing gain for completing all 5 Career Agents in station. Completing all 15 Career Agents available per Faction will definitely grant the player a very nice increase in Faction standing. Those missions are all rather easy to complete, albeit time consuming.

Yes, I agree the level 1 SoE Epic Arc is long, consisting of about 50 to 52 missions. But it has a good story plot and players will usually gain a few Storyline missions while running it as well. Besides that, it can be completed every 3 months for standing increase to Faction of choice. As for the amount of Faction Standing gained for completing the level 1 SoE Epic Arc, it's actually +7.00% base standing gained. Training level 5 Social skill will increase that amount up to +8.75% Faction standing gain.

Data Center Agents are indeed great for a quick boost. They can be accessed with high Corporation standing with minimal Faction standing required making them easily accessible. However, completing most of those missions will be rather expensive.
