Scanner is no longer persistent over logout?

I have always had the Scanner open grouped with People & Places.
Recently it seems to disappear on logout, maybe the last week or two.
More than that, it requires two clicks of the Scanner icon to bring it back once I log in again.
Anyone see the same? Or have I just unknowingly adjusted my behavior?

same here

in fact, the scanner window is not persistant after a dock / logout, but is persistant while going throught gates.

i reported it as a bug few weeks ago when i first noticed it, and CCP confirmed to me it is not intended, so my guess is that it'll be fixed soon
