I have wanted an EVE tat for a long time to go along with my other tats. Been wanting the Guristas symbol somewhere. But cant figure out just where. Being in the US Army means my tat space is restricted to above the elbows and below the neck. So, first off, good idea or not and if a good idea where would yall suggest?

Since you got the caldari thing going, maybe drake with moto that something to do with state, like: Uphold the State or some such. I am not really deep on caldari lore.

I think the guristas rabbit is perfect, and it's edgy enough that you don't have to explain you got a tattoo over internet spaceships to those who don't already know it.

This - easier than having to explain that you play games so much like a pro you have a permanent ink reminder of it.

Could always get the Caldari state logo as a tattoo and if anyone asks you could always just tell them it's a Comedy Central tattoo :D

Guritas Eve tat +1 from me too. I looked up the rest of the factions some others would look great too but would always require some explaining!!

Since you already have other tats, I guess the "tats in general are a bad idea" issue is out of the way :p
Guristas logo is quite alright IMO.

What's left is to see what tats you ALREADY HAVE, and only then can we suggest where this one should come in next.
I would suggest taking at least 2, preferably 4 or more pictures of your existing tattoos and uploading them for us to see before we can make meaningful suggestions.

Tattoo's are for life, MMO's less so. And the Gurista logo looks a bit like the playboy bunny gone wrong.

Well that's a matter of opinion. Tattoos have been around for almost as long as man has been alive and in all cultures they have served as a form of art, a tale of lineage, spiritual meaning, and as a sense of nobility.

Now ones personal choice of tats can be viewed as a bad idea and each one again is of ones opinion but I will agree that many tats done today are regretted tomorrow. I for one know that tats are for life (even if you laser them off there is still a faint impression) so I chose to be very careful with what I put on my body.

For starters in Julians case his employers are telling him that his art work must be above the arm and below the neck. I made the same decision because I knew one day I would be wearing a suit and tie in a professional atmosphere and having something idiotic like hate life across your knuckles just won't look good in that atmosphere. Plus its always fun to see that shocked expression when people who have known you for years learn that you actually have a tattoo.

I also refrained from the standard skulls, reaper, chain armband, naked women, and names. While I partook in several shock life styles I also heeded the words of my dad when he said that I would grow out of it. And while I do still listen to heavy metal and occasionally show up at punk rock concerts I no longer wear the spikes and chains or have a multi-color mohawk on my head. It probably wouldn't have been idealistic to have a part of my past stained in me when I have changed so much from the person I was.

What I did choose was tats that I can actually explain to people what they mean and why I chose them, rather than say I was drunk and it sounded like a good idea at the time.

there's no guarantee that your life will last very long either.

I would have tattoos, except I don't. I get it, though...

Frankly, I take a LOT of care what tats I get. Usually I have them designed by friends of mine and think about the design for a year or more before I get it. The two I have are my dead brothers initials over my heart and a viking protection rune that looks kind of like a snowflake on my right deltoid. My left arm below the deltoid is already slated for the Summerian winged disk.

I know right? I always make it a point to get my tats done my reputable people. I am willing to spend plenty of money to make sure the art is well done and efficient. You are Air Force? What was your MOS?
