In-Game Events and Gatherings

Hidden Treasure's Bookmark Game is here, in Dodixie!

Few rules:

* There are 20 secure container in space locked with a password
* In EVERY can is some faction item (some great some not)
* In Hidden Treasure's Dodixie channel you have list of top rewards (plexes, ships, expensive items...)
* Every can is on a safe spot which I have bookmarked
* Every bookmark is in my contracts and a list of contracts is in Hidden Treasure's Dodixie channel or in my bio
* I don't keep track of what prize is in what can to keep things random

So short story is....
You buy a contract which have name 1-20 when you buy contract you buy a bookmark of can that is on safe spot, You get your ship warp to can and put password which I will give you when you buy can. You open can and take it, if you are lucky you hit some of the main rewards, if not you get some faction item.

Game is simple, system with containers are near Dodixie, few jumps around, so its high sec

Neat concept! I tried it out... spent a mil. got a bookmark for a prize worth 20x more than that. Was only a few jumps away from Dodixie in hi-sec, nice and safe.

If you're floating around dodixie and want something fun to do that could pay off, I'd suggest trying it! I liked it so much I got another ticket :)

I had a great time running Dodixie's First Hidden Treasure's, the Bookmark Game last night!

Congratulations to all of the winners, I hope everyone had a good time playing! To everyone that played, thank you for trying it out, and a special thank you to those that left their feedback!

Tonight I will be doing something a little bit differently. My co-worker has designed a random number generator to generate the Isk amounts for the contracts. Where the prizes and contracts were already random, this is adding in an additional random factor to make the game even more exciting for everyone!

To all of my fans and players, good luck and have fun, I'm looking forward to hosting tonight's game!

I will be adding an extra incentive of 1 million isk (limit 1 million isk per person) to players that leave their feedback on this forum post as well, to show my appreciation of your thoughts and taking a moment to leave them here for others to see.

little fun + gift.

i have some small idea for next time:
1) you give bookmark to container with voucher. next time put there 2 bookmarks for 2 next places.
2) both of these 2nd places have containers with vouchers (or maybe only 1 container for more luck-based chance)
3) after reaching first can person asks for password, chooses 1 bookmark and gets password for it.
4) person reaches second can and gets voucher from it

this will make it more luck-based - person chooses 1 of 2 containers. person can't simply take both of them because he needs password.

Round three I will be setting the stakes a little bit higher than the previous two rounds. For round three I will have a voucher in 4 of my 20 PRIZ3 containers that you will be able to redeem to me for a NAVY or PIRATE Faction Frigate of your choice! This list includes:

Well here we go. Ephidel is running one hell of a great game setup out here in Dodixie. Bought the second cheapest contract just to try it out, and I must say I was surprised that it was not a scam. After claiming my loot someone else bought the cheapest contract and won a faction frigate of their choice!

This goes to show you that not everything you see in Dodixie is a scam, had a blast chatting it up with you Ephidel and I wish you the best of luck.

Well I just played, I wasn't sure if it was real or not, but I went ahead and tried it. You accept a contract and get a bookmark from Dodixie and a password for a container, I had to make a couple of jumps from Dodixie to a 0.5 system, the container, in my case, had another bookmark telling me I'd won a faction frigate. I then go back to Dodixie and get traded my new Daredevil.

For reference, the Contracts were 20-45mil or so, so in my case, I actually got pretty lucky.

It's actually quite an amusing little way to spend time, and I think I prefer it to the likes of Somer Blink where you often end up coming out with nothing at all.
