Whos up for it?

None of this copy and paste crap and advertisement spam rubbish like zkillboard etc.

I propose that we create a new simple system from scratch that is powered by donated databases! cloud hosting!

Yes Chibbra i know you want in on this if ya got spare time!

I understand better.

You are not offering to program a new killboard from scratch;

You want to host a killboard service, without all the advertisements. Maybe using an opensource killboard system like EDK or zKillboard.


Then, since it's a bit expensive, you ask Chribba to host it?

Since you mention it here is a shameless plug.

Currently my only major bug is that the database contents gets out of date more often now with all the yaml changes and converting the data back is time consuming. (the checking part)

Hey Nicky don't want to be a ***** or anything but didn't you start a thread for the same thing a couple months ago? How about this : stop throwing ideas that you think are unique. And show us some actually working stuff that is made by you. And that no one has done before? Isn't that a good idea?

I aim not to beat anything, i aim to provide an alternative and to get involved in a group project for eve, that is all..
A little advise for your killboard, "Little details are big details" Remove those view kill buttons, they are just wasting space and are not needed.

If you haven't noticed clicking the ship image currently doesn't take you directly to the kill itself, and that's why the view kill button is there. I'm not a fan of the button myself and it will be going away (saving space, yay).

With that said, such "little things" will be configurable in the future.

I had some doubts about this actually being your website until I went beyond the front page. The writing styles match up after all :) but you did take more effort on your website than here.

It would be helpful if you took a bit more time to write your posts, pay just that extra mile of attention, and write out your idea as if you mean it, and people will be much more inclined to listen or help.

A call of just "Who's up for xxx?" is generally going to be trolled or ignored, unless it is amazingly creative or original.

The problem is that the message felt like.

As you see it gives little info about what you are planning to do. Just that iris something that already exists.


Maybe you can give more info about this distributed scrum REST big data kill board in the cloud.
