I ran the maze the other day and I found that when we warped in there were no stasis towers....... Is this what others have found?

Torpedo is now kinetic?
Is it possible to solo The Maze? If yes what ships allow to solo The Maze?

Would love to see someone try and solo The Maze.

Our fastest run ever was roughly 15 minutes (avg time usually 20-25) with 2 Tengu's, Basi and a Broadsword. Basilisk was to keep the Broadsword alive and the Tengu's to demolish the outpost. Usually takes longer to shake the scram frigs than it does to kill the station. Note: Haven't tried after the changes. You can prolly do it without the Broadsword now, and still do it in under 20 minutes.

Even when it fired a EM torp i was able to solo the maze with a Tengu in 45 minutes. It was not my standard set up, I solo'd it to prove to a few corp mates it could be done without losing a ship.

My standard set up was a Tengu Tank and a Machariel with a cloak for DPS. Mach drones and Tengu would kill the scarmming frigs in the 1st 4 rooms in a couple minutes tops each. In the final room I would cloak the mach between spawns so the tengu took all aggro and just shoot the station till it died, scoop the loot with the mach, kill any scramming frigs on the tengu and warp out. 22-24 minutes tops except the one or 2 times i was slow to cloak the mach and took agrro, forcing me to kill that whole wave.

That was before the change, after the change its in some ways easier and someways more tedius. my mach takes BS aggro in the 1st 4 rooms now, but no big deal, the scram frigs die fast and the gates aren't locked so if it gets too hot I just send the mach right on through.

The final room isn't any more dangerous, just more tedius. There is no surefire way to keep all aggro on the tengu (i tried everything, small remote rep on the tengu, ecm and other ewar on the tengu etc etc, the mach just does so much DPS there is no way to make the npcs NOT see it as threat #1 lol). So i end up havign to damn near kill everything except the last ship spawn.

my solution has been to triple box it now rather than dual box, Mach, Tengu (to tank the station, which is SUPER easy now that I don't even have to put EM hardeners on my tengu), Vindicator. the poor bloody npcs don't really know wich is worse, the mach or the Vindi, and the station goes pop really quickly, all i have to do is mop up at the end, scoop the loot and go.

Using 4 ships to speed run it is fine, but if you NEED

As I said, you could do it now without the Broadsword and prolly without the the Basilisk. Regardless of difficulty, I consider it one of the more "fun" plexes to run.

does the tower still shoot that massive omnidamage shot on initial aggro? I was tanking it with a 1600 plated ishtar once and it took me to low armor before anything else even aggroed (of course I didn't have an expl hardener).
