Eyefinity and EVE not getting along

So I got all excited when my active mini display port to DVI cable got in. I finally hooked up my three monitors together and set up eyefinity using my 7850 cards in crossfire. Everything was dandy until I tried ramping Eves display resolution to 5920x1080

not only did eve not like this, but my screens started going berserk and blinking. Any Ideas why this would be the case? Im pretty sure its not my hardware... has anyone else had this issue?
