Simply said your mfg and research slots have value add potential; It's up to you figure where you can provide value. If your buddies are building T2 or complex T1 products see what components you have skills to build and offer to produce freeing up some of their slots and possibly time.

TIDI = Increasing profit while decreasing service level to the customer disguised a nicely marketed benefit. What would Amazon have done here.
