I'm overjoyed to hear from you again, Khross-haan. I hope that time has been kinder than the rumours suggest.

Those who know you have no doubts on your honour. Those who do not know will learn.

You are as sincere and kind as ever, Scherezad-haani, I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Bright stars and clear horizons.

Yes, starting with your employment under Sansha, it seems...

The Honor Guard was no longer mine to care for, that it has fallen to disarray is unfortunate but ultimately time brings change to all things.

I can assure you that reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated, along with a number of other details, it seems.

My new friends have been a strong foundation in troubled, uncertain times. That and they actually let me do my job, give me purpose.

As for news of your death being exaggerated, it appears so. Just watch your back, pretty much every 'State Loyal' capsuleer has a different idea about the term these days. You and I, Malcolm, seem to be a breed they want to put up against the wall when they tear down all that Heth worked so hard to build.

Maybe if we can find some common ground, others will be able to watch your back for you.

Ancestors choke, is it really you?

I held out hope that one day you would return, and by the Maker's grace it seems you have! Khross-haan we are overjoyed here at I-RED to hear you well. You'll find a VIP invitation to our lounge soon, I'd say. We would be honored to have you over.

Not quite correct. The position of Commander of the Wiyrkomi Honor Guard was given to me by Khross himself as Wiyrkomi Corporation was removing him from the leadership position and active duty for reasons that have neither been disclosed publically nor confidentially to me. After this period Wiyrkomi reinstated him for active duty, although disagreements - voiced publically through an attempt at denounciation on the IGS - prohibited rejoining the Guard. Shortly afterwards he disappeared and all we got was the confirmation of death from Wiyrkomi itself.

I am quite surprised, and not in a bad way, that this confirmation was not the truth after all. The recent audit that saw the end of the Wiyrkomi Honor Guard suggested that guri involvement coincided with the past investigations Wiyrkomi concluded. A final verdict is impossible for me to reach at this point seeing how my gut feeling in this case does not completely coincide with the results of said audit based on the facts I have at my disposal.

Ruthlessness is the kindness of the wise.

It should be stated that I was absolved of all correlation to and suspicion of any guri activity, sympathies or involvement. As the audit suggests, dissent occurred from within the ranks of the Honor Guard during my tenure as Chief Executive, resulting in my personal evaluation and subsequent suspension of leadership. Upon the completion of my personal evaluation, I was acquitted of all suspicion and reinstated for active duty.

The story between then and now will remain untold for as long as I feel it necessary and is certainly not going to be tossed around in this public circus.

The past is best left as a whisper on the Winds to remind us of lessons learned and trials overcome, let it remain there.
