Issues, Workarounds & Localization

I've recently attempted a fresh re-install of EVE Online. This was after installing a second hard drive into my rig. I've decided to place all of my new items into the new hard drive. Originally, EVE was to be placed onto the new drive using a custom location at the installation. However, the problem started appearing and I chalked it up to EVE not being placed on C.

I uninstalled EVE from the new drive and made sure there was nothing left on the other disk. I installed EVE on C, and the same issue popped up: After installation, the launcher would not launch EVE. It would however, launch exefile.exe but it wouldn't do anything except sit there in Task Manager. Pressing the button again would launch another instance, but still nothing would appear on my monitor.

Running the repair tool would lead to the launcher not functioning, and instead giving an error reading:

"See the logfile located at C:/Program Files(x86)/CCP/EVE/launcher/launcher.exe.log for details."

Upon opening the logfile, it reads:

No handlers could be found for logger "overrides"

NOTE: "module" has < and > at the beginning and end of the word.

Running as Administrator does nothing regardless of which file is chosen. Manually firing up exefile leads to nothing, and the other files still bring up the logfile error.

I have tried re-installing the launcher, it does not work. This error only happened after uninstalling EVE. When the new drive was installed onto my computer, EVE still worked fine and was still located onto my C drive.

I use Steam for gaming purposes, and games located on the other drive work just fine. It seems to be just EVE.
