I looked into it,instead API,it wants account login data.Didnt like it a bit.....

If it is truly asking for your account login information, then no it is not safe. I would never trust my account information with a third party even if their program was legitimate, you cannot expect enough security is built into their program to prevent your information getting into the wrong hands.

Exactly my thoughts.It might be account stealer,or there is developer backdoor left in,to gather massive user base,and gather jackpot later.

Also,this program is not on EVE Online's considered safe applications list,(for a reason it wants login data,i guess).Also ,web search gives nil to it,other,then Sourceforge download page.Might be just fresh TARP!

it is simply older than the eve api.
the newest version is from 2005: http://sourceforge.net/projects/eveonlineplan/files/eve-online-planner/
even evemon asked for your user/pass back then, because that was the only way to get the data.
