Below is what I use to play Eve. My laptop also has an Intel 4000 which is used while on battery to conserve power.

But, when I am in Eve the drop down only shows the Intel card. I have gone to the nVidia control panel and manually added all the Eve exe files so they should be using the higher graphics processor. So, is this just a cosmetic thing, or is this a real issue that needs to be addressed? The game seems to run fine, in fact, I can run two clients on the same laptop with no issues at all.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Same Problem for me with an Lenovo IdeaPad Y580 and an GTX660M. Only the internal HD4000 shows up in the graphic option menu.

When running the game on Full Screen (1920x1080 on 15.4), the fps will move between 5-80, don´t know why that is...and don´t know if that is while running the gtx or the hd4000

I had same issue with my Optimus Tech(2 GPU's one Intel bundled, and the second from Nvidia) based Toshiba laptop. The solution for me was updating the Nvidia drivers. Now I see both adapters. Moreover, previously, when only one adapter displayed - it was awful performance, now I run 3 windows simultaneously with high settings on.

P.S. bad drivers came from the factory, so even if your laptop is new, it's worth to update those.
