Third party monetisation with new developer licence

With the new dev blog on the CREST API and the new Developer Licence it specifically states that you cannot current charge access for any service you provide that makes use of the API, which is a huge disappointment as I was planning to create a website using the EVE API that would require a subscription, but obviously with the current licence this can't happen.

Does CCP have any plans to change their stance on this and offer a way for third party developers to monetise their tools? If so is there a timeframe on this?

If you want to monetize an app based on CCP's IP, you'll have to talk to legal about getting a proper licence from them.

It won't be free.

Woo! CSM XI!
