Declaring war on a faction corp?

If I declare war on a faction corp, will it automatically put me at war with the entire faction including the NPC Empire? Will killing the warring corp damage faction standings while at war? What about without being at war?

No, but often times FW corps will help one another out, so you might get a counter war dec from other corp(s) and with the new assist system it's easier than ever to do this.

We used to war deck faction warfare corps before moving to null sec occasionaly. They usually just ran to low sec where their freinds could help them if we came looking for them. We still got some good fights occasionally and like null sec corps the FW dudes often had a few bears hanging out in high sec missioning/mining or whatever.

U dont get free war against their friends or the militia unfortunately.
