Is Sansha a first- or lastname?

I'm wondering if Sansha is a first- or lastname. The leader is Sansha Kuvakai, but on the lore page he is named as just Kuvakai, but also as Sansha or Sansha Kuvakai. Very confusing ?_?

I hope someone knows!

AFAIK Sansha is his first name.

Kuvakei sounds like a Caldarian name, which fits, as he is supposed to be a Caldari Deteist.

His first name is Sansha, and his surname is Kuvakei. I don't think there's any given reason why he's known by his first name rather than his surname, but that's how it is.

His full name is Sansha Kuvakei.

Depending on the country, people tend to use more the first or the last name.
Me, for example, would never call him 'Kuvakei' unless there was more than one Sansha.

Yes thats where my confusion originates from I think. Since Kuvakai sounds Asian which would imply Kuvakai is his last name and Sansha his first name. However since its written by Western people its just the way its given; Sansha as firstname, Kuvakai as lastname like the dev posted in this thread.

So I'm feeling the replies here tell us that Sansha is the first name and Kuvakai is the lastname.

Sansha is his given name, Kuvakei is his family name.

The Caldari style of writing names is Given Name/Family Name.
