U guys come out and point out the main problem and then suddenly forget u said u where going to fix it.

So what's the deal?

I'm just looking for a clear answer.

Yes working on it.

Or

No shelved for a while.

Only people informed on the subject need reply.

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

They shouldn't be working on nullsec stuff that only benefits 20% of the players you know.

I think a change as large as that effects everyone in eve.

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

As luck would have it, it would probably affect more than 20% of the players.

Oh, and OP: those were a list of things that would be good if they could happen over five years or so… As the blog says, they're design goals, not something that is certain to happen.

Nullsec is filled with carebears pretending to be something else, constantly whining and generally just being annoying, which basically just means no one wants to live there no matter what CCP does.

I do think it's perfectly fine that CCP spends time improving content playing by 20% of the player base, if the idea is to make it better and bring more players into that type of content.

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

They realised when working on that that the core issue of null sec pvp is that fact that ships them selvels are borken and unbalanced. So thats why they are fixing those first

give me the intel part NOW they can work on everything else for the next 5 years, so long as they get rid of local sooner rather than later i will be happy.

because the ALL KNOWING LOCAL is STUPID.

Yes, almost as stupid as removing local without a better game mechanic to replace it.

Now why would I feel stupid, when they have made exactly the same point I just did... repeatedly.

You might pay particular attention to this part:

Quote:
Strong tools for collecting and sharing ◦To support the other goals here, tools should be available for collecting and sharing intel that minimize the amount of rote work, particularly documentation, that players need to engage in. This frees up their attention for collaboration, analysis and decision-making.

There is a large amount of work that will have to be done before you can simply "remove local". New systems will have to be planned and developed... many of which will need to work hand in glove with other major game mechanics.

Gathering intel is going to take a lot of work to flesh out properly, into a believable and engaging area of gameplay... and that is going to take quite some time to develop.

Stop being a jackass.
