Steel Hawke: Chatgris - for erradicating swarm after swarm of frigates.

Emerald Albatross : Tekitha - for ensuring total domination over Caldari and local pirate entities.

Gold Canary : Ammon Dei - for all the diplo work in coordinating between US and EU TZs

Obsidian Macaw : Berakh - for becoming the first one man army within the federation.

As someone who entered Gal Mil from the beginning of 2012 and witnessed all the changes with the militia throughout the year, here are my nominees. I posted my logic so that it may help others who are deciding on who to nominate.


Silver Eagle; Val Erian. For his strategic understanding of the warzone and helping guide us forward through the weekly ebb and flow that is faction warfare. Dope, XG, and Juan Rayo are right up there as well because they stuck to Gallente when they could have easily gone Minmatar in the first half of 2012 like many others did. Their efforts behind the scenes helped change the war around for us in the second half of 2012.

Steel Hawke: XG. One of the best solo pilots out there who doesn't have to use Off grid boosting and relies solely on Gallente ships. No one has done better with fewer resources.


Emerald Albatross; This is a tough one as there have been many FCs who have stepped up throughout the year. I would vote Heinrich Hertz simply because he was one of the first FCs willing to lead militia pilots regardless of which corp you were with. There may have been better FCs but no one was more inclusive than he was and did the dirty work of accepting scrubs and helping with bunker busting and plexing fleets. His efforts helped with retention of militia pilots when no other FC would step up in the early part of 2012. I would say Dopified, MinutemanKirk, Slarria Duponi and Yun Kuai are up there as well.

Gold Canary: Juan Rayo for his use of diplomacy and working with both EU and US TZ corps and trying to encourage collaboration and unity.

Obsidian Macaw: Marcel for his groundbreaking applications such as Aura which has benefited all of New Eden. Not just Gallente society. He has shown solid understanding of the technology and how to use it for good
