Possibly think about adding My Channel to your Thread Info.

Many Traders are Moving to us for our speed, which is obviously needed when trading since price flux will lower margins over time on most things.

I'm a trader myself, and it was my frustration with slow services that resulted in the birth of "Haulers Channel"

I'm heading to my cabin soon to pound out my next book, which means very intermittent internet from May until October. When I get back, I have every intention of continuing the channel.

In the meantime, it sounds like SCC has got their **** together recently with respect to actually helping traders, so I recommend taking your questions and problems there. You can find their thread on the first page of MD.

btw: Varius I started a small side project a while back, the gmba channel and corp named Galactic Master Business Academy, to do some semi RP pro trade teaching. I never got it off the ground, but maybe we could do some grand joint venture thing on improving MD and access to source material and things of this nature?

Behavioural game theory would, I think, be the best term to use for laymen; bounded rationality in strategic thinking.

I would be happy to actively participate in such an endeavor when I get back.

Understandable. Some prefer staying anon. It just becomes practically impossible over time to the best of my knowledge. Too many hints leak out and then its a matter of skill and will to actually figure out who people are. In my experience most EVE players are really nice people even though they are pretty good at being periodically jerks. Pirate

Would you maybe be interested in then putting some writings together for the lounge blog, on the topic, maybe just something a bit simplified and more directly related to the EVE universe?

The reason it looks slightly neglected is there have been a fall out of participants, and I just crawled back in pod actively a while ago.

Well, it's all about maintaining plausible deniability, then people can guess until they're blue in the face.

I'm sure I could knock out a few articles for mass consumption that relate to Eve trading, though I very specifically and purposefully don't work professionally in economics. Not sure exactly what I'd do, but there are definitely topics out there I'm sure.

Perhaps something about how trade hubs are formed?

That would be a very interesting topic, especially if angled towards how to promote similar behaviour on smller scales? Like how to catalyze the emergent formation of a hub.

Usually the individuals and groups proactive influence is highly underrated by most articles and commentary on hub formation history.
