So,

We have a thread in General Discussion justifying the economic incentives/motivations/philosophies of the current hulk gank trend.


And here we finally get how everyone really feels.


And you guys really need hobbies. Isn't there a model train store around....maybe a dog park....swimming pools....discos.....

Confirming this—by decree of Dear Leader, there are No Blues Mining, so anyone whom is mining is fair game (including blues).

Come on people. You say I'm wrong and EVE does NOT need miners or their products. I'm willing to be convinced. Someone please Link me the information and I'll be the first to admit I'm incorrect. Until then, I maintain Miners are necessary to the Game. If you can run POS without mining products like Liquid Ozone, Heavy Water, etc then show me how? If not, show me where you get the stuff without miners.
It's quite true that the majority of people refuse to admit Data unless it agrees with their already formed opinions but I'm not one of those. I was a trained Data Analyst by trade so just give me some FACTS please.

If suddenly 1000 mackinaw go pop, don't you think that in the next few weeks someone is going to sell 1000 mackinaw in a higher price, as botters and normal miners won't wait in order to replace their ships?
And if you pop those 1000 sold mackinaw right after, don't you think someone will sell another 1000 mackinaw?

Unfortunetly I can't buy your arguement. I have been in several ice belts lately where I am the ONLY ice miner. Now I don't mine for a living. I just get in, get enough to run the POS and then go back to stuff I enjoy more. And I'm not in the bot culture so I don't know why anyone would run bots now that they can't sell ISK for cash, but even botters run on ROI (return on investment) so if no one is mining ice in Gallente space it stands to reason that in a month or so POS are going to go dark.

And the real question was not: Will people quit mining. The question is: Can EVE survive without miners.

Many GoonSwarm seem to think it can. I'm still waiting for FACTS on the subject.Roll

Go to Otela. Lots of ice miners for you to snuggle with. Just watch out for me.

After looking through your killboard I have a question.

After 20+ ganks in Otela people haven't learned and left the system? It isn't common knowledge that there is ganking nearly every day?

Big smile Ah! I got it now. Goonswarm are all Republican and TeaParty Americans. They ignore any data they don't like. Come up with rationailes for anti-social behavior and have the wildest unproven theories to justify their actions.
