I have killed hulks in .7, but they need to be naked tanked. In .5's- unless they are massive tank and shield rigged- they all easily die. Nothing worse than concord getting there and poping u, before you can pop that hulk. Kinda embarrasing. I'm going to drop the t2 fit though and fit t1 'named' stuff. Make it cheaper since the dps for t2 is overkill.

Could always switch to using a Hurricane or team up with buddies in Ruptures, to avoid the shortage of blasters issue.

The real problem here is game mechanics. Basicly Killing a miner is easy, and the miner is defenseless. CONCORD protects the ganker until the miner is dead, then just kills a cheap ganker. Meanwhile it gets more expensive for the non-low sec/null sec people to buy stuff. The big null corps just get bigger and stronger and the carebears get driven to quit the game. This has always been a good idea to CCP Devs since it's people are all fully funded and love null-sec. It's not so good from the CCP point of view since it's the carebears that pay for the game. (85% of paying players are carebears). So we have a confilict between the Dev's who want a wide open game and the Accountants who want a paying game. Attempts like AUR are a lame attempt to keep both sides happy. I have no real solution, PLEX was a good idea since it's cut down on the Bots a lot. Of course, it also makes the game less fun since the wealthy don't have to work for ISK's anymore. Anyone who comes up with a solution could probably get a good payout from CCP.

Apparently this guy hasn't studied how EVE works. Everything he uses/flys was provided by a miner. No miners, no ships, no ammo, no POS, no corps.....LOL

So, Let's give him his wish. Let's all STOP mining and just gank any goonswarm miner we can find anywhere and see how he likes sitting in an NPC station while the Galaxy goes dark when the fuel runs out.

There is a wonderful book by Farhad Manjoo titled True Enough, which is entirely about how we now live in a post-fact society where people routinely question substantial and sometimes overwhelming scientific evidence that disagrees with their predetermined ideologies. I mention this because it explains why people continue to believe that miners are important to EVE, that botting and RMT are very small and infrequent activities, and a whole slew of other provable falsehoods related to the game. Because we live in an environment where there is so much total information, it is possible for a person to view only the information which reinforces his or her particular worldview, and competing views of reality have replaced competing ideas of how to address policy.
