A long time ago I was going to go sightseeing around the galaxy, but got a bit sidetracked. Now, almost exactly five years later, I'm going to continue doing this. I'm going to go through every system in every region. I've been playing Eve for 5 years now, and if this takes me another 5 years to complete, it'll be worth it. :)

More information here on my blog.

If you'd like me to say hello or invite me on an adventure of your own when I come your way, make a note here with your location and I'll look you up when I'm passing through.

I'll update this thread with links to new blog posts as I go through my sightseeing travels. I'll also chat with any of you that wants to chat, whether that's on this thread, in-game, or via comments on my blog.

There's the possibility that I can make the acquaintance of every single one of you... Wouldn't that be interesting!

Wormhole systems may prove a challenge, but good luck in your travels.

Six months in the hole... it changes a man.

True that.... I'm not sure if I'll include wormhole systems yet, because they're not really on any maps so I can't mark them off or document them so I don't go back.

It's also unlikely that my sightseeing ship will include a probe launcher. I'm just going to keep it simple for travelling around the entire galaxy, rather than scanning for wormholes, etc, but I'm sure that I could enter any wormholes that people invite me to. Big smile

Doing all this ratting to try and get my sec status down is a bit rough. Might be a week or so before I can go travelling at this rate, but I'll get there!

Just poking in....

Nice to see you here. I wish you good luck. And thanks for help back in the years against Panda. How is Jalif these days anyway.

Take care and fly dangerous as you like.

Someone did this a while ago and visited every system in the game and I think there was an Article published on The Scope? I think it was about a year ago.
Good Luck Mr Claw and make sure u fit for combat....

Thanks for all the well wishes!

@Galadriel Vasquez did they document their experiences along the way, or just talk about it in a Scope article? I'm going to see if I can find it....

@Abrazzar 'Black Claw Down' might happen more often than is worth making a movie about it Sad

@Jaraslav Unwanted that Panda campaign was great, and you're welcome. Big smile I don't know what Jalif is doing these days.

I am doing something similar. Circumnavigating known space through only sov space. Not quite as comprehensive as your trip, but it should be fun.

@Poetic Stanziel Nice! I've also added your blog to www.evebloggers.com

So I did a bit of research and found that someone by the name of Jeran Tek has gone through every system in the galaxy only a year after I first wanted to do it back in 2006.... *sigh*

But anyway, I'll be doing it a bit different over the next few months (or years!). I'll be taking photos of every interesting attraction in every system of Eve, and tagging them with the attraction name (where they have names, that is), and the system and region names. This should allow a 'database' of attractions per system and region that people can look at.

It's a shame that the Jovians didn't let Jeran into their regions, so they probably won't let me in either. Oh, the photos I could take......

Speaking of 'a bit different'...

After losing my stealth bomber to some warp scrambling rats and not being able to finish them off before they finished me off, I then started pod-jumping around the region to go get another stealth bomber. In the process of avoiding warp bubbles and gate camps in my pod, I came to a realisation....

What the heck am I doing wasting time trying to get my sec status up? I don't need a ship to go jumping around Empire! I can do it in my pod. It just means I better not hang around at gates or station exits, and should treat the entire galaxy the same way I'd treat nullsec - dangerous!

In a pod, I can start my adventure straight away. CONCORD won't chase me in highsec, and I'll only have other pilots to worry about. Admittedly, quite a few more than in nullsec, and most of them chasing me as I race through the highsec system, fashing red and with a bounty on my head....

This could be fun. :)

Here's where I worked out the route I'll travel around the regions of New Eden, without going through the same region twice:

You should go from the "north"ernmost point of 0.0, straight across the center of empire and to the "south"ernmost point of 0.0 and see how long it takes.
PERSONALLY Is like the referrence point to be able to tell ppl that ask how big it is lol

@EVE Stig I thought about it, but I'm currently in Curse, and I decided it would be a good idea to just start from my current location. It all gets travelled anyway. Also, I worked out that if I average 15 systems a day, 3 days a week, it should take me just over two and a half years to travel all of New Eden. Big smile
