So what PVE ships are still viable now that CCP nuked missiles?

Fury cruise damage was increased, explosion radius was buffed, but range was cut a bit. Precision missile damage and explosion velocity were buffed. T2 ammo ship penalties were removed.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

So... what are my other options? What ships can I fly in missions? I can fly every T1 sub-cap, nearly every T2 and all T3's but the only large T2's I can use are torps which are useless. I can use all small and medium T2 weaponry and I have decent specialisation skills with them.

Im still using a
HM Tengu
HM + Drone Gila

The only HM that has a 40ish km range now is the Precision T2 missile, but that shouldn't be a problem as the small/fast targets it's designed to hit generally close to within 'webbing' distance (under 15km)

Fury HM's goto 70km & Navy HM's still reach 90km, and generall most mission npcs spawn around the 50km range or closer, with only small parts of them spawning at 100km+, a 10mn AB on T3/BC and 100mn AB on BS will always give enough speed to close to within weapons range as few mission npc's are that fast.

if your not using precision, then a tp AND web make for much better application of your dps on those smaller targets

Yeah I was thinking about a Sleip or Loki but wasn't sure about their tanks.

They were buffed in some cases yes but range with heavies got a massive kick in the balls and some NPC's are orbiting at 50 km doing 600 km/s when I can only do 300 km/s and hit at 40 km. Sure I can get there if I skimp out on tank for prop or range rigs in place of tank rigs.

Before Retribution came out, I EFT warrior'd up a HAM Tengu. I must say that I loved the DPS coming out of it while still getting the same tank but I am the laziest guy ever and the idea of chasing NPC's about put me off it a little. I also had a little fear of HAMs vs elite NPC scram frigs too.


Gobs forbid you ever have to refit your ship..
