Not to butt in but isn't "Why do you want to be with us?" usually the first question any group asks? I hear it at every job interview, Every Beta application, Every survey I've ever taken. It isn't suspicious, its commonplace and normal as far as I can tell. I'm curious as to why you got so defensive? I know rswfire can be blunt but nothing he said seemed out of place or rude to me so why the heavy reaction? I went through more hoops than that myself only 17 days ish ago. "Hey I liked your add can I join" just isn't good enough for almost any corporation or alliance. I think you need to relax . Just trying to help you understand so you can be more accepted at the next Corp you try to join. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors.
