Happy February!

If you're looking for a corp to join...old or new player...check out the posts in our forum thread, look for us in-game, or join our public channel at "Fire Recruitment." We've been around for about six weeks now and have approximately 80 members who engage in many areas of game play. We've had good times and we've had bad times...but even during the bad times, we still had more "lols" than in any group I've been a part of. We're still getting our footing but we've come a long way in a short time. Come join us for fun times and the occasional wardec to break up the monotony of life in space! <3

Fire, Inc. has gone through a transition. We're now four corps, soon to be under the banner of a new alliance (ours).

We're looking for the following to join the Fire, Inc. corp at this time:

* Mission Runners (who are not interested in pvp)
* Carebears (Hugs!)
* New Players

We've other corps to accommodate the following:

* Mission Runners (who are interested in pvp)
* Fighters/Soldiers
* Miners
* Industrialists
* Procurement Logistics
* Distribution Logistics

I will create threads for these corps and link them in my signature to provide additional details.

Read through this thread for a great deal of useful information about our group as well as third party testimonials.

Please contact Leila Solett or Jamelyn in-game or join the Fire Recruitment channel to inquire.

Hello fellow immortals out there Smile

We were new and we grew fast. Just a bunch of people building a new and exciting alliance. Our first war came too soon, but it is over and it couldn't break us. Moreover, we came out stronger, standing together to face the challenges ahead. New friends, training and a way better internal organisation made us a force to be reckoned with.
We just recently formed new corps dedicated to PvP and FW. We now accommodate five corporations in the Fire Alliance (soon TM) and Firesworn, our executive corporation.

  • Fire Assassins - brothers in arms: PvP, small gang warfare and training

  • Fire Enterprises - miners, traders, industrial tycoons and wanna-be tycoons welcome! You found your new home Smile Orca boosts are available as well as a ore buy program.

  • Fire Incorporated - you are a new player and not sure which path is yours? You are an experienced player, trying out new stuff you never did before? FireInc is our social corporation, not dedicated to any specific career path.

  • Fire Security - We love shooting those nasty rats! PvE at its finest. Group missioning rulzz. And if anyone challenges us, FireSec takes up arms and defends their fellow Fire mates.

  • Fire Warfare - Dedicated to faction warfare supporting the Caldari state both on ground and in space. You got a DUST alt? Or you are even a main DUST player? Join the family!

All five corps are currently recruiting. Just join our chat channel Sapientia Embassy and have a chat with me or one of my colleagues Smile

Excellent post, Storm, thanks...

I'd just like to add that what made us special to start with isn't something we've lost. Our founding principle was to create a safe and fun environment for new players to learn and progress their characters in whatever profession most suited their interests while providing established players with a place they could really call home.

There's very little ego, drama, or conflict within our group. Everyone is respectful and helpful, often going out of their way to assist anyone who needs it, whether it's help moving, buying a ship, understanding a game mechanic, or needing advice. When players log in, they're greeted warmly and fleet up with anyone engaging in an activity of interest to them.

Members take it upon themselves to come up with many creative ways of contributing to the fun, from weekly contests that result in a free ship of their choice to random "ask me anything" events to posts on anything that might help another now or in the future. We've developed running jokes with different people and have set a precedent for quoting each other in our bios when someone says something particularly quote-worthy; so many things just take on a life of their own.

Only a month in, we were decced by a merc alliance, a war that lasted for three weeks. Everyone, regardless of their profession, volunteered to do whatever they could to combat what was taken as a very serious threat to our corp's survival. We took many losses (close to 5 billion in damages), but we learned a great deal from the experience, never lost our sense of humors, and became closer to one another as a result.

We adapted, forming new friendships and allies, the most important of which is The Ghost Army, whom I consider friends now and have honored us as allies, willing to defend us on a moment's notice. We were faced with two smaller wars since then, both of which were of considerable less threat and both of which we ended without any serious losses at all. We've come a long ways.

We're not carebears, and we've never backed down from a fight that is forced upon us. We've developed combat training courses that are available to every member of our alliance, no matter which corp they are in. We've created corps specifically designed to deal with any threats we are faced with, and we're exploring other ways to educate and train our members, including professional classes paid for by the alliance.

It does not matter which corp you pick from the list above, we're ready and able to provide you with the support and assistance you need to survive and prosper in Eve. With that said, our alliance is broken up into two general concepts.

  • Fire Inc, Fire Ent, and Fire Sec are alliance corps. They'll be joined together in less than a week. These corps are for activities surrounding mission running, mining, industry, and other activities that are less PVP-focused. Everyone is taught basic combat and defense so they are prepared should we be confronted with war, but we do not require anyone in these corps to fight directly. Many will, however, to preserve what we have created together.

  • Fire Sin and Fire War are PVP-focused, and for this reason are not attached to the alliance officially, to minimize nuisance wardecs. They are based in a different area of space where they are able to engage in combat with other Eve pilots who are also looking for PVP. We spent a lot of time considering the gray areas and have come up with combat policies we feel uphold our values. Our players engage in fair fights; they do not attack defenseless ships, gank, scam, or harass other players.

  • If, by chance, war does break out in any of our corps, we immediately come together as one, our allies join our wardec, and we confront the issue head-on. For such a young corp, we've been aggressed and bullied several times, but it has not broken our resolve, it has not diminished our spirits, and each encounter has just fine-tuned our ability to more efficiently defend against bullies. We will not be beaten into submission. We're peaceful, but we have teeth.

All of this is meant to express an underlying principle: We're family to each other, and we've proven to ourselves that you can create a positive environment, uphold a set of core values that separate us from many others in Eve, and still thrive here. That is what I had set out to accomplish; what was once just an idea has now become a reality, and we wish to add to our family with others who want to share in our philosophy.

We are the other side of Eve...the human side.
There is no darkness here; only light. And there is no cruelty here; only altruism.

We are still in the process of fleshing out each of our corps, developing programs for our members, and setting a solid foundation. We recently created Firesworn.com, which at present offer private forums to our members. With time, we'll create a public facing site where others may interact with us and learn more about us. Despite the resistance we've faced, we've not allowed a single day within our corp to be an unproductive one.

Feel free to PM or mail any of our recruiters (Rhaegar Storm, Leila Solett, and Laivas) or join our chat channel at "Fire Recruitment." We're based out of Caldari space for now; at some point, we also plan to set up operations in Amarr. We're a very active group, so you'll never be alone when you play. We're sociable, tolerant (we have nearly a dozen LGBT members, for example), helpful, friendly, and playful. We're here to have fun...and we are!

Hmm, we really don't update this thread nearly often enough. Oops

So, we're officially an alliance now -- Sanctus Sapientia. For those who did not attend Catholic School regularly, it means "Sacred Wisdom" which has meaning for us. That, along with what "Fire" actually represents to us, is very apt for what we stand for and what we're trying to accomplish in Eve. For now, these things are generally not well-known, but perhaps one day will be.

Now is a good time to join if you've been taking any serious look at joining a new corp/alliance. We're at war again (Russians! <3 You!) And, at this point, I've pretty much concluded we'll probably always be at war with someone...so meh. We'll deal with it, along with our lovely merc alliance allies whom we quite adore for all their great work.

If you look through this thread, you'll see some posts from "Efficient Z" whom at the time of writing was part of RvB. We've been communicating regularly for months and he now joins us as the SecOps Directors of Fire Assassins as well as the overall alliance in general. He's been a great asset to us, creating an excellent structure for our PVP corp, training programs for all of our players, and much more.

TL;DR (only works here, not once you join!)

* Growing, strong organization with solid leadership.
* Perpetually at war with someone to add a bit of spice to our lives.
* A ship replacement program for PVP'ers.
* An ore buyback program for our miners.
* A salvage/loot buyback program for our mission runners.
* Basic PVP courses to all players within our alliance.
* Comms (though you still have to force many of us to use them).
* Friends. Seriously, some of the friendliest people to ever grace the stars (till you **** them off).
* Plans for an internal marketplace and some other programs forthcoming.

Aside from being NEW PILOT FRIENDLY, we are always looking for experienced players in many different areas of gameplay.

And we've a few roles we need to fill:

* Recruiters. Really needed right now. I simply cannot do it myself! (I often pretend to be a recruit in the recruitment channel, lol...)
* Industrialists. Seriously ramping up these operations.
* Miners. We just like to give them hugs. I dunno why. It's just nice to hug them!
* PVP'ers. This is the hardest as we do have some conduct policies (ie, no pirating).

Some other things we're working through are wanting to start FW, so talk to me if this interests you and you'd want to head up a team to do this with. I'm also open to merging corps with ours -- we're worth being a part of!

Not looking to add corps to the alliance, but perhaps after months of deliberation, I might consider it.

Fly safe! <3

Hey everybody.

I'm the HR Director here at Sanctus Sapientia so if you have any questions about our corps, our members or anything else I'll be happy to indulge you. Don't hesitate to drop me a message about recruitment or just stop by for a friendly chat in game. Blink

If you're reading this thread and still think we can offer you something extra within the alliance, then your wish has come true. I run weekly competitions amongst our corps and give away a free ship every single week. These ships range from Frigates to Battleships and are won by simple contests such as 'Tell the best joke' or 'Lowest unique bid'

I am also running regular competitions on our own personal forums with large ISK give-aways quite regularly. I don't ask for anything more than participation and am very rewarding to our corpies.

If you're looking for a fun corporation that allows you to experience EVE for what it is, a leisure activity, then Sanctus Sapientia is going to make you some instant friends and allies to fly through space with. We're generous with our members and put them before everything else.

Ciao for now, and if you ever want to have a friendly chat then hit me up! Big smile

Hi,

I am Bruce Karrde, a member of Fire Security :)

What I love about this alliance is the social aspect. Its members are not limited to the corporation they have chosen to join. Instead they are motivated in many ways to work with members of other corporations. From personal experience I can say that it is fun to get a fleet going containing members of the different corporations.

Sharing experiences, sharing goals, sharing fun :)

Hello fellow capsuleers, I'm 1MONTRESSOR, a proud member of Fire Enterprises.

The Sanctus Sapientia family is unique in that the corporation you join isn't just another facet of the greater whole. It's more of a home where you can meet and work with like-minded peers who are looking to achieve similar goals. It doesn't matter how experienced you are or how many ships you have because your value as an individual is derived from who you are as a person. Join with an Ibis, join with a Zephyr, join with an Orca or a Thanatos and you will find the same environment waiting to receive you and make your EVE experience better.

Liberate yourself from your restrictive orbit and swing out to become a magnificent star in the constellation of Sanctus Sapientia.

"The universe is yours."

This here is my first shameless bump.

We've been working on integrating our alliance more fully, so recruitment takes place from:

Sapientia Embassy

We also use this room for contact with other corps/alliances.

This update comes at a rather difficult crossroads in our history. We've experienced our first real growing pains as we struggle to create responsible policy and procedures for those in management. We've had some conflict, some hurt feelings, and some losses. With that said, we've weathered the storm and continue to move forward with building a stable alliance that focuses on the prosperity and happiness of our members. Some of the programs listed below were inspired due to the recent issues we have gone through.

A list of "fringe benefits" to our members:
  • A mining buyback program. We convert ore into minerals with 100% efficiency and pay 90% of their mineral value.
  • A ship replacement program. We replace ships lost during sanctioned PvP operations and/or losses from war.
  • A salvage and loot buyback program. We purchase salvage and loot at reasonable prices, updated weekly.
  • Dedicated mission running groups to increase empire faction standing.
  • An internal marketplace in which members can purchase items directly from us at below-market value.
  • Weekly optional meetings where members can ask quesions to the executor and directors.
  • A human resources division to help mediate disputes and resolve conflicts.
  • Training courses specialized for new players in several different areas of gameplay, offering guidance, free skillbooks, and more.

I recently re-joined Eve after 2 years break from the game because the first time around didn't go so well. I was expecting that it might be a short revisit because I didn't think there were any communities in the game that offered a good support base for new players.

It didn't take much searching to find the recruitment ad for Firesworn because the description it gave about the alliance stood out clearly from the rest. An alliance that favoured fair play in New Eden? I was intrigued so I applied.

It's been about a month now and I am thrilled to say it was one of those "right place at the right time" moments because this alliance is amazing! The people are all friendly, helpful and unique in their various personalities and interests. It's a vibrant community of friends who go out of their way to help one other and are easy to get along with. Wardecs and griefers don't even seem as scary anymore because at Firesworn, your wingmen (and wingwomen ;)) have your back. This breeds a positive environment that can only get better as the alliance grows.

I am addicted to Eve again, thanks to the great experience I've had at Firesworn so far. I encourage any of you reading this, if you are looking for a corporation with decency and respect at the top of it's priority list, to join us and learn how New Eden can be more than just a place where you are looking over your shoulder at every turn.

Just went to their recruitment channel as a relatively inexperienced player i liked the sound of the structure of this corp, and they seemed to be helpful, well structured and approachable.

TLDR: I was met with a suspicious and non helpful respponse!

I went to the recruitment channel for the corp expecting recruitment to be open (Friday 29th) only to be met with a really suspicious player - rswfire - being snappy, telling me recruitment was closed again, and why would i want to join them anyway.....
then he went on to (again suspiciously) ask why i would bother waiting for their recruitment to open...... weird.

Maybe i'm missing something as an inexperienced player ? But that was not the helpful, friendly attitude i have read about here.

My advice to any other players like me who like the sound of this corp, be careful - you will probably get shot down in flames on their recruitment channel !

I guess something happened to them as they have moved their recruitment date back a week again?

Anyway, be aware guys - if youre a genuine player, something isnt right here...

I'll keep this short...

We have closed recruitment for a few weeks now while we work on a new recruitment process that integrates with our community website at Firesworn.com.

This individual entered the embassy room tonight and discovered recruitment was closed longer than we had originally anticipated. When I realized this person had been waiting for some time to join us, I was intrigued. Most people would not bother to wait around to join a corp...so I asked him why. (This is what he means when he says he was met with suspicion.) Sadly, he was mistaken and jumped to the wrong conclusions. I asked out of genuine curiosity, because if he was that interested in joining us, I would have just allowed him to join tonight rather than wait around for us to finish the new process we are working on.

That said, his attitude shows he would not have been a good fit for our group anyway. We really have little tolerance for petty drama and this post and the manner in which he acted in our embassy both fall under that category.

as i said, non-welcoming and sniping - not the attitude you advertise on here :-)

I responded to his question of "why would i bother waiting for their recruitment" explaining i had read on here how helpful this corp is supposed to be. And was flamed by him.

Anyway, just be aware, something isn't right here, treat with CAUTION.

EDIT: LoL at his sig - there is no cruelty here - yeah right. If i didnt know better,,,,,,,
