I've had this problem for the last little bit since the Retribution launch. When I try and start the game client, it'll immediately shut itself down. This happens with test versions, steam version, and regular client download version. It only works every so often, and for various reasons. One fix never works more than once. System restarts, memory error scans, and other assorted tests all come back saying there's no problem.

The only workaround I've found is running the client as administrator, however with the steam version that's not possible, and the game ends up not launching at all.
