The New Bounty System

The new bounty system is obviously a huge improvement but I still don't think it hits the mark.

The biggest problem is that players can simply evade the bounty by using a jumpclone and flying cheap ships.

The odds are still stacked in favour of the pirate as against mission runners, freighter pilots etc. For the pirates it's just a 20% surcharge on their activities.

My suggestion is that the bounty is paid out on the player total wealth rather than just the ship loss. i'e. bring the player wallet into the equation.

Obviously players would just transfer their isk to an anonymous alt.

So make the bounty payable on the isk balance of a player account

Is this codeable?

So they just transfer the ISK to a 2nd account.
Or they keep it as non-liquid assets such as PLEX.

No. It's a bad idea, easily cicumvented and solves nothing.

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.

how do they evade the bounty by using JC's? It's attatched to the character not the clone...

And yea they can just fly cheap ships to avoid bounty payouts and they can just fly cheap ships for the rest of their time playing EvE to avoid paying out a bounty Roll.

I've never really heard of bountied pilots flying cheap ships to avoid payouts. Sure its theoretical, but not really feasible,

I think CCP should have made it that if you assign/sell you killright to a specific person, any activation cost set above 100 Mil should have a retainer that is refundable upon the death of the ship or at the expiration of the killright.

It also would be nice if the killright has been assigned to you that the killright shows up in your killrights tab or at least have Concord send an email notifying you that a killright has been assigned to you from another person.

A person that does'nt use his intelligence is no better than an animal that does'nt have any and thus are steaks on the table by choice and consent.
