High pitch noise: Standby sound Caldari Shuttle

yeah, its somewhere in the 12-15khz neighborhood , just tested with a brand new amarr shuttle
(I can hear 15,750 hz from a TV set flyback transformer outside the building)

doesn't seem related to the engines as it does not change with the speed and you still hear it at a dead stop
an ambient sound connected to the shuttle hull?

Hearing loss happens to everyone, you wont hear the highest pitched noises far younger than you'd think. If you're older than 16-18 you've already lost the very highest.

That said I'm in my twenties and this sound is obnoxious.
