To CCP: If OGB is being removed Is there going to be a SP refund?

I train OGB on my alt so that I compete with other OGB fleets.

I'm happy it is being removed, but I also expect them to refund my SP for all my OGB skills.

This isn't the same situation as a nerf. The OGB removal will literally make my alt worthless.

no.

he is talking about off grid boosting...

he is upset that in the future you will have to risk your ship to provide game breaking bonus to fleet ships...

No.

Even though I don't agree with the change, I'll adapt, move on and the skills used will still be useful.

nope think again.

totally fine with ogb removal, not fine with my alt becoming worthless after months of training skills for OGB.

Yeah, just searched my skills, can't find any "OGB" skills. Plenty of leadership, none of which are specific to off-grid boosting, so not sure what OP is complaining about.

Unless it's just COMPLAINING.

Too many good pilots are getting out of business. Too many OBG's aren't able to practice their, their love of boosting, all across New Eden.

They didn't reimburse SP after they removed drones from super pilots, and that was a much bigger loss than OGB becoming slightly less useful. CCP don't like to reimburse skills.

... because training BC V is completely out of question.

Apart from the T3 skills (which are ~5 days each) the skills required for an OGB are a subset of the skills required for an on-grid command ship, they don't suddenly become useless...

Offgrid boosters is what is keeping solo and small gang alive. Removing them is completely, 100% ********. Keep them CCP, or lose most of ur old-school PvP players that have been playing for almost over 6+ years.

OGB are the only thing actually enabling us to fight the small gangs you see around now. Unless u want to give us some sort of skills that increase the tank to that of having an offgrid booster, buti dont work when u got ongrid one......

For so many l337 peeveepee'ers around here, an awful lot seem to want combat without the risk of losing a ship. Curious...

People people, theyre not eliminating your OGB...theyre keeping the acronym but changing the spelling of the first word to 'On'. Its OK to settle down now and cancel those biomasses.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Why is off-grid boosting the only thing enabling small gang fights?

I suppose it never occured to you that the gangs you are fighting were also able to use OGB... and that after the change will be unable to use them just the same as you.

You mean the pirates in Old Man Star won't be able to have ridiculous +'s from that Loki and Tengu I ALWAYS see on D Scan when I jump into the system? *Does a little dance*

Of course a gate camp of 10+ ships probably won't need an OGB to blow up a hauler or frigate..... probably. ;)
