Fanfest 2013!

As if the EVE Fanfests are not already crazy enough with all the mind boggling, spectacular, awesome, inspiring and unbelievable activities, round tables, developer discussions, celebrations, parties and announcements. But this time, right for the 10th anniversary of EVE Online, Fanfest 2013 will be tremendous.

Fanfest flight and hotel packages are available now and you if you ever thought about going to Iceland and visiting a Fanfest, then this is the time!

Also, regarding Pub-Crawl: Is there a chance for a coffee crawl again? Or will it be like 2012, where I bought a ticket, believing it would be like 2011 - and then there wasn't any.
(Then again, I know a few cafes around Reykjavik now anyway, so no explicit need for a grand tour...)

Well, they oughta know what to do with them hogs out there for shure.

Awesome! I, too have questions though....

If I buy the Fanfest tickets now, can I add events on later if it turns out I'm not as broke as I currently think? Or does it all have to be in one booking that can't be altered?

About the pub crawl with a dev, it says it includes beer tickets - can these be used on things other than beer? Because I don't drink, and it'd grate a little bit to spend money on something that includes drink tickets, only to then have to buy my own soft drinks anyway...

Also - does anyone know how fast the cheaper hotels usually sell out? (See above point of brokeness) Not booking everything in one go would really help here, but if it has to be done I guess it's lentils for the next month :D So excited!

Hi Asthariye

- You can add on other stuff later, no worries.

- Beer tickets for pub crawl can be used for other things

- The CenterHotel offer did sell out in 2012 and pretty quickly. I would advise to grab the offer as soon as you are able.

Beer tickets are like a shadow currency at Fanfest - if you don't use yours, there will always be someone else who will. Bribe your enemies with them, or get them drunk enough to spill the beans on their future war plans and trade secrets, or give you hangar access in their corp!

Briliant, thanks :) Sorry if the ticket question was stupid, I just have many bitter memories of free drinks night at university where the beer was free, all my mates getting pissed on the cheapest night out imaginable and there's me, spending a fortune on soft drinks....

Confirming I achieved great success with my Beer tickets uncovering secrets of many alliances (including the CCP Alliance).

Also, \o/ Fanfest. Can't wait.

The pub crawl is happening only 1 night?

If it is happening more than once do i need to purchase more pub crawl tickets, or one is valid for all pub crawls happening?

Ooh, more stupid questions. The link to Centerhotels in the Devblog has a list of hotels and prices. However, if you then click on the link to the sales page there, there's another list of prices and those are higher. Which ones are right?

[edit: looking in more detail, it's only the ones for Hótel Klöpp that don't match. As it's the cheapest, this matters to me...]

All Pub Crawl will happen at the same time the same night. A massive horde of EVE players and Devs will invade downtown Reykjavík and terrorize the locals.

That's just the official CCP organised Pub Crawl though. Every night at Fanfest can involve pubs and drinking if you want it to.

Tyr - am I reading this correctly that the Eve Symphony on Wednesday isn't included in the Fanfest ticket price?

Yes, the Symphony is a pretty expensive en devour so tickets for that will be sold separately.
