There is a reason why even on FPS games there is an option to turn off smoke effects.. These dust clouds/effects are literally smoke effects in space for eve. Smoke effects are physics driven/calculated so they will eat up any GPU.

Why hasen't this been done already? It ruins the pve experience rather than enhance it.

Signed! Remove all clouds everywhere. They are useless performance hogs, and nobody thinks they're pretty.

Not remove, but give us an option to disable them if we want too.

I also would like to be able to disable effects on sensor boosters / tracking computers / ECCM

Those make my head very dizzy.

Whatever.

Reducing the opacity of the tactical overlay's 'range' high lights may help some as well.

I support this.

I really hate those clouds. They throw my fps down to ground level. I always zoom out when running anomalies.

I would also like to add that those clouds are very ugly.
