TRANSCRIPTS OF THE ACCEPTANCE CEREMONY TO THE AMARR EMPIRE and the Ministry Of Eugenics

Written by the Heideran VII, the Amarr Emperor himself, Pax Amarria is the most remarkable book published in the last century. In it the Emperor writes about his hopes and dreams for peace throughout the galaxy; a vision that has propelled him into becoming the champion of improved international relations. His relentless strive for these goals has brought unparalleled harmony in the relationship between the empires; his constant search for peaceful solutions to any problem having many times becalmed brewing storm.

This is a signed copy, with Heideran's signature at the front: "Semper Pax. Heideran VII". The words contained within are to be valued, protected, and it's beliefs fought for in battle within all galaxies; and be the very part of your existance in life, in death and hopefully your rebirth life after death, as long as you are faithful to it, our cause, and the Amarr Empire! May our Gods protect you at all times in life and death.

Welcome to the Amarr Empire our new Brother Vladimir Furdik for whom we have embraced, we stow upon thee, our open arms of the Amarr Empire, stand; be recognized, and seen by all of our brothers and sisters whom all are upstanding member representatives of the Amarr Empire!

Thank you my Lord, the Amarr Supreme council brothers and sisters for my introduction to the Amarr Empire; but I can not help but to wonder am I worthy of such a prestigious honor? For such an honor, I do vow before my Lord and his Supreme counsel, my brothers and sisters of the Amarr Empire. I shall not betray such a glorious honor for which I will take to my pod and as I succumb to my demise, this Holy book and such a prestigious honor, will also accompany my soul. And may our Gods resurrect my poded soul if I live up to the Amarr standards of life. This I pledge before thee so help me, our Gods of the Amarr Empire.

It's God: singular, not plural. There is only one. How do you not know this? I'm an atheist and I apparently know more about your faith than you.

If i understood all that flowerly prose. I think you are saying you are a supporter of our Lord? Or past emperor?

And the young lady is right. It's God. Singular. If you wish to use it as Gods favor, that is acceptable. But not, May the Gods bless us.
We only have one.

If you wish to duscuss this further. Just let me know. But i may just refer you to Lord Graelyn, AS he's much better at teaching then I. I'm too damn blunt.

Speaking of blunt. Lady Silas, I wish to be present when our lord gives you his judgement. It'll mean i have died but Damn that would be worth the price to watch That.

Yes, one God... But Ill assume that's a typo, mistakes are human afterall.

Do not forget that to clone the body is a sin in itself. Being a capsuleer is a necessary sin for our Empire to endure, but a sin none the less.

They say we are Immortal, but there is only one being who will truly last forever.

True, but calling Amarrians preachy is like calling a Caldari greedy, a Minmatar a savage or a Gallente a hedonist.

Meaning: None of us take it as an insult in the least. Blink

Welcome to the frontlines of the Empire, Captain Furdik. But forget about Heideran's teachings, we no longer live in a world of peace. He wrote years ago, and I wish his vision could have come true and we could trully live in a cluster wide pax. But such is not the case, since the Minmatarr and Caldari ignited two wars that spans the stars, the dream of a true pax was forcibly ended. We woke up to the sounds of cannons and torn armor. So ready your laser, prepare your will, and join the army, for there is much to fight for, and little time for pleasant talk about peace.

Peace has died.

No cause is lost so long as someone still believes in it. My family still believes in the Pax Amarria. The terrorists (on all sides) who rattle their sabres may be the most vocal, but they are not in the majority. I pray that it stays that way.

Of course, we have a slightly different perspective than most governments: We live in Ammatar space, the border between two powerful realms. Any war that happens is going to hit us the hardest no matter who the victor is in the end. So we have a lot more incentive to work towards peace than those who move pawns around on a map two from some room two hundred light years away the fighting.

So, roughly 14 hours to go from misguided Imperial supplicant to complete idiot.

I believe that's a record, even for the Summit.

Cripes. Next time just say it was a problem with the speech recording software that produced the transcript. You should have edited the post and saved face.

As the first one to point out your stupidity, a payment of 100 million isk to myself should suffice for your punishment.

A faithful servant of God will always be opposed on all sides by non-believers. Despair not, for when you are beset upon by the enemy turn to scripture for there, you will find your answers. They attack those with faith out of fear, do not blame them.

As for penance for your blasphemous writing. I cannot tell you, seek a religious leader and leave it in our Lords hands.

I will leave you with this from the book of the Prophet Kuria Chapter 4, verse 23:

"For forty millennia we struggled in the desert.
Time of infinity to grief our misgivings.
Time of eternity to stray without God's guidance.
One can repent and pray for forgiveness.
But true meekness is one that has penetrated and laid its roots in the very heart of a man.
The stars above will not weep for us parting.
The air we breathe won't notice our disappearance.
The dirt of the earth will embrace our decadence.
Only in God can we thrive and grow.
Only in God."
- The Scriptures, Prophet Kuria 4:23

Remember that only through God will you find the terms of Salvation. You cannot just pray and make it so. It MUST be in every action, in every word you speak, and in your heart. Be meek, but be confident that God will deliver you unto Him. Be confident in all that you do, even when ridiculed, laughed at, and struck out against for following the Word. Be meek in that you do not lose sight of where you've come from and what God has given us, he can just as easily take away. Those that laugh and jeer now will have a difficult time when they are no longer of the physical realm.

I leave you, my brothers and sisters, in prayer.

So if I'm reading this correctly, you got given a bloody old book and now feel the need to publically announce this fact? You could have at least read the book first so that you actually understand what it is you're talking about.

Or maybe the idea is that you don't?

Brother Vladimir Furdik, although I am new to the Amarr Empire and its holy beliefs, I give you, praise for your efforts in holding to our beliefs of the scriptures within the Pax Amarria Holy book. We do need religion in our heart, and souls to guide us to our destiny within the many galaxies. Please forgive those who appose, those non believers of their ignorance, and teach the scriptures of our God. As for me? I vow to become a great pilot, train for many a battle in days, months, and years if need be, and promise to defend our way of life and beliefs to my grave. DEATH to all none believers. The Amarr Empire will not fail, we will not be defeated, we will prosper throughout our travels within the many galaxies, and we will have in our cargo hold a copy of the Pax Amarria and if need be we shall take our Holy Scriptures to our pod less grave, SO HELP ME GOD! Blessed be the God my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.
