Hmmm ... topic immediately locked after me posting the truth?

interesting .....

anyway to the numbers .... is there a way to record and store statistics?

Might be interesting to see to follow some implementations.

BTW important is structure of these numbers, which is very hard to find out ... problem is minmatar 1-2k active farmers together with tier system and last quickpatch is really screwing the mechanics. It is also worse, because the FW isk printing machine is luring market machinations.

FW is dead man, it's been dead a long time, the only use it serves is farming ISK. The fighting hasn't even been interesting in who knows how long, it's always the same thing over and over, with no real strategy other than bait & gank or bring more blob.

There is no real feeling you are fighting for anything other than doing a 9 to 5 grind to get isk or decontest systems you dock in. Why CCP felt the need to add all these incentives on the ISK side is way beyond me and anyone with any real long term experience in FW knew the station locks out would kill FW in the long run.

The missions set up we had 2 years ago was more than enough to keep people in ships with out completely outrageous numbers of farmers. It required decent skilled toons which put a cap on the 2 week old alts.. But everyone whined about wanting system captures to "mean" something.. So now they do they mean FW is nothing but a grind fest and revolving door for farm alts to jump to which ever side can make the most isk.

yes and no ... incentives and tier system is killing it (via farmville) but low sec/plex/crimewatch changes are positive way.

The only way they can even come close to fixing the problem and using the current plex mechanics/sov system is to remove the ISK all together from plexing, but then no one will bother defending anything but their important station systems. As long as ISK is involved and it's able to be farmed as easily as it is now then there will never be balance or a even playing field because one side or the other will always attract more farmers for one reason or the other.

Besides that I can't even remember the last time I had a good fight out of FW. Granted I haven't played any serious amount of time in the last few month, but way before I stopped playing actively the fights were very dry and boring. It was always about who brought the biggest blob and watching the other side scatter if it wasn't a sure win for them.

Actually I posted a comment there, which compared to my usual standards, was altogether unoffensive and informative. I quess the reason was linking to CCP video where Dev says "I'm playing with my buddies for gallente federation".

For some reason I was not yet banned from forums.

Do you people have break-days where you don't whine about the system all the time, whatever it might be?

I recall when Federal FW was near-dead; few were around to fight and even fewer cared to plex, even if that's where 90% or all the Caldari were. Complaints about everything between heaven and earth were tossed about, the Caldari responce? "Deal with it."

We did.

And now we are on top, after years of progress, clawing our way out of the bottom, having loads of fun despite the doomsday preachers, and you are the ones complaining that FW is dead.

Welcome to our life, a few years ago. Now it's up to you to rally together and cooperate against us. If you can't, we will win.

And then everyone will lose.
