I'm thinking about joining Mimatar or Gallante Faction warfare, but the thought of accruing enough negative rating that I will never be able to go to Amarr or Jita again is kindof annoying.

Question: Will FW take me below the -5 mark so that I will be instapopped in Jita and Amarr? Or will it stop at the -4.9 mark? Is it worth it?

It will take you below -5, you just put a 0 SP same account market alt in Jita and courier contract your stuff to your main.

Don't worry about it. Once you start pvping in lowsec, there will be so many kill rights on you it won't even be funny. It's actually probably better than Amarr and Caldari FW folks who may forget this and get their freighter popped. Its best to haul on a different toon than your main anyway. As you get older, you will move from an alt industrial, to an alt freighter, or just straight to red frog/black frog.

Many FW corps have their own logistics to move things for you. Just make an alt to buy stuff for you to be moved (you don't have to have two accounts to do this, you can transfer isk to an untrained alt on the same account since you get 3 character slots) and your main will never have to go to highsec again. Smile

Just google red frog freight,

Have them send all your **** to a high sec border system close to where you live in low. Its very convenient.

why don't you join amarr or caldari? i mean if both hubs are important for you why fight for the other side but use the hubs? i don't get it.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Market alts (you know that second and third toon on your account) are for market hubs. Courier contracts are for shipping your stuff around. Tier IV payouts are for Gallente Militia pilots.

Dodixie and Rens are decent trading hubs... just smaller and a tad more expensive than Jita and Amarr.

This is true. I'm hard pressed to think of anything not weird/exceedingly rare that can't be found in Rens or Dodixie. And if you're willing to be patient, your FW Loyalty store items will sell for more as well.

And if you want to go more than one kind of negative five, there's always Hek.
