went 50 jumps in a caracal all the way from pure blind along outer ring to fountain, saw nobody until I entered some constellation where I died to 3 guys. Are their solo people in null? Seems like nobody lives their, where are the good solo fights in nullsec?
Should I just do faction warfare?

How about not making 2 topics? https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=180313

On the off chance you aren't trolling and do not understand proper forum etiquette, I will repost my reply in the other thread here aswell.

Thought I'd chip in here as alliance B or as part of a group of people who harass, grief, gank, roam and generally harm some of the residents of sov 0.0

First of all it sounds like the op went to a backwater part of eve somewhere in the drone regions and went around the same 8 or 9 systems 5 times.
From my experience the best way to quickly get to vibrant and active areas of 0.0 is to use both the in game star map and dotlan.
Goodfights are almost always had especially if you take the time and research and learn about your opponents.

For instance tribal band will always bring a fight provided you appear weak, Test will bring a fight if there is enough of them and an fc is on at the right time, in the drone regions at Russian primetime you can get many gangs of Russians who will always bring the fight.
Fights are plentiful, you just have to have a solid gang and good sense.

If I had to guess as to why many people in this thread are unhappy with null-sec I would put it down to their unwillingness to change. The burden is not on the sovholders to fight you fairly, its on you for not falling into a trap, for learning how to avoid being bridged on, for flying the wrong ships (ones to easily caught) and learning how to roam 0.0 effectively.

Basically my points boil down to Sov holding entities are doing nothing wrong and need to be bigger. People who would like a slice of their pie or to get at the meat inside should learn to adapt.
It can be done.
It has been done.

Alcohol made me think that the two topics were sufficiently different to make two posts.

You can get solo fights in null.... but it's not easy....

1.) Most of nullsec is pretty empty... to find a fight at all, you really should be in the more "populated" nullsec areas...
Curse and Syndicate are pretty full of PvP'ers and easy to find fights... You can also visit areas like VFK or ... i.e. the homes of major alliances with tons of people on... Try not to travel directly to these systems, but skirt the "outer" areas of their control, and you'll find the occasional 1v1's and such....

2.) As the population of an area increases, so do the number of gangs (roamers and gate campers). You will be "ganked" by a group if given the opportunity, so choose your engagement wisely... The bigger the ship is, the harder it is to evade tacklers, meaning it's harder to choose your engagement rather than have the engagement choose you. Experience helps a lot with this...
