he did have to do something. he has cost the company lots of lost income in the last months and with out a bit of marketing speak it could get a lot worse.

be nice to know what that magic number of lost subs was, but they stoped publishing active account numbers

I think we should test it further with more cancellations and less real money injection :)



Eve is already dying, the ingame market is DEAD AS A DOE DOE.

This PR blogroll statement hasn't fixed any of that yet either and probably WON'T.

You must be new here.

Hope is the best quick fix, but reality will (probably) disappoint. That is why so many 'bitter vets' take the low expectation - joy for scraps method. . . its overall a darker state, but slight sense of elation that anything happened is quite good actually.

I've regained respect for Hillmar as well, and I trust he's being genuine about turning Eve around.

It still remains to be seen if in 2 months and some change they can pull this off, I'm rooting for CCP.

Thats exactly why I said respect, but not trust. I've got good enough pattern recognition to see what might happen next, it wouldn't be the first time CCP promised the moon but delivered a rock.

Still, I respect Hilmar for recognizing the errors his company have made, and even more so for deciding to take personal responsibility for it, which he didn't have to. Blame could have been spread around. The fact that it wasn't implies that there is genuine effort and reform going on.

I respect, I hope, but I do not yet believe.
